About Us - (last update FEB 2010) SANTA visits Iraqi Scouts!

We're a group of volunteers stationed on the Victory Base Complex, "doing our best" to start and support scouting in the areas around Camp Victory - and thus we call ourselves the Victory Base Council. We are following in the legendary footsteps of the Green Zone Council, running strong since 2004 in the International Zone ("Green Zone"), about 15km to the east, in Baghdad. We are always looking for more volunteers (in Iraq) and help from outside of Iraq.
