  The Buildup - Apr-May 08

  Chaplain Wade convinces a couple of Eagles to think big, we make some new friends, we gather a team, and the next thing you know...

  Pictures from our three month buildup to the first meeting. It was a long, interesting journey involving many meetings, convoys, meetings, visits, and meetings. While all this was going on, LCDR Fretz, Major Hugo, and Squadron Leader Parker were making regular convoy runs to the IZ to attend GZC meetings and get guidance, advice, pick up fundraiser items, and work on getting official Scout ministry approval for our efforts. Additionally, our on-base flyer campaign adds to the scouter team, which includes a number of friends in the Hearts for Baghdad group. Our Tuesday dinners get larger and larger...
